(Coral Springs, Fla.) The Cyclones women’s golf program had three athletes who were named to the Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar Team. Seniors Liyana Durisic and Tess Blair, and current sophomore Keeley Marx all received the honor.
It will be Durisic’s third All-American honor and the first for Blair and Marx.
The All-American Scholar Team criteria means being precise in college athletics and demonstrating academic excellence in the classroom.
To be selected, a student-athlete must:
• Have an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher.
• Be an amateur and on the team’s roster through the conclusion of the team’s season.
• Have played in 50% of the college’s regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year nominated through the team’s conference championship
