(Des Moines) A California man who was arrested in Cass County with a hit list against President Biden and other high ranking officials has been sentenced.
According to Federal Court Records, Kuachua Brillion Xiong was sentenced to the custody of the Bureau of Prisons for a term of 24 months. Upon release, Xiong shall serve a supervised release term of three years.
Following a routine traffic stop on December 21, 2021, Xiong was transported to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office for questioning. Xiong told Authorities during the interview that he was traveling to Washington D.C. to follow through with a plan to harm President Biden and other Government Officials. Authorities found an assault rifle, ammunition, a “hit list,” and other items to execute his plan during the vehicle search.
