(Kellerton) A Lucas, Iowa, man died in a single-vehicle crash in Ringgold County.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened at 4:00 a.m. on Wednesday near the 107-mile marker on Highway 2. Authorities say 34-year-old James Cody Sage died at the scene.
According to the report, a 2015 Chevy Express Van driven by Sage eastbound on Highway 2 west of Kellerton left the road, entered the south ditch, and struck a tree.
The Ringgold County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Iowa State Patrol at the scene.
