(Davenport) The Iowa Department of Corrections is alerting the public to Jovonta Elijawan Litt’s work release escape. Litt failed to report back to the Davenport Work Release/OWI Center.
Authorities say Litt is convicted of Willful Injury – Causing Serious Injury, Intimidation with a Dangerous Weapon, and Dominion/Control of Firearm/Offensive Weapon by Felon in Scott County, who failed to report back to the Davenport Work Release/OWI Center as required yesterday.
Litt is a 31-year-old, 5’6″, 178-pound black male. He was admitted to the work release facility on Feb. 20, 2024.
Persons with information on Litt’s whereabouts should contact local police.
