(Des Moines) The pleasant springtime weather won’t last long. The National Weather Service in Des Moines says periodic rounds of storms are likely early next week.

In case of severe weather, find a sturdy shelter indoors, and avoid sheds, mobile homes, or tents-they are not safe. If no shelter is nearby, seek cover in a ditch or low-lying area.
