(Pottawattamie Co) A State of Iowa construction worker was killed in an accident in Pottawattamie County this morning.
Iowa State Patrol Trooper and District 3 Public Information Officer Ryan DeVault said the accident occurred at around 9:14 a.m. near the 12-mile marker of Interstate 80.
Unit #1 is a 2024 International Semi driven by 41-year-old Clifford Miller of Millerstown, Pennsylvania.
Unit #2 is a 2021 Dodge Ram pickup owned by the state of Iowa. It was pulling an asphalt trailer, where crews were doing patchwork.
The Iowa State Patrol identified the victim as 36-year-old Matthew Dickerson, of Neola.
