(Atlantic) The Atlantic Fire Department was called to a detached garage fire at 1313 Poplar Street at 4:16 p.m. Wednesday.
Atlantic Fire Chief Tom Cappel said upon arrival there was heavy black smoke and flames coming from the garage.
There were no injuries. Chief Cappel thanks AMU for pulling the power and the Atlantic Police Department for their help with traffic control.
