(Creston) A Union County man faces alcohol-related charges after crashing his pickup in a yard in Creston.
According to the Creston Police Department, the accident happened at 4:12 this morning at Cherry Street and Summit. Following the investigation, the Officer arrested 21-year-old Andrew Frederick Weis for OWI.
Authorities say Wies was allegedly driving a 2013 Chevy pickup recklessly through a yard at 500 N. Cherry Street, struck a tree, backed up, and hit another tree. Weis suffered minor injuries. Officers transported him to the Union County Law Enforcement Center. Her was also cited for operating a reckless, erratic, and careless vehicle.
