(Atlantic) The Trevor Frederickson Memorial Fund donated to the Nishna Valley Family YMCA’s Annual Campaign.
The funds will be utilized for membership scholarships, aquatic activities, after-school services for kids, facility upgrades, and more. “The Kiwanis bike helmet program also received a donation from the fund, which holds a special place in our hearts as Trevor was one of the first helmet recipients when the Kiwanis group initiated the program,” said Petty.
“As a non-profit organization, our mission is to give back all the money raised each year at our golf tournament to things that Trevor loved and participated in,” stated Melanie Petty (Trevor’s Mother). “Despite losing him almost fifteen years ago, we are fortunate enough to continue to support these things.”
The next TFred Memorial Golf Tournament will be held on Saturday, June 15th, at the Atlantic Golf and Country Club. A silent auction will be held all day in the clubhouse. If you wish to donate, please get in touch with Melanie Petty at 249-3696.
