(Red Oak) A Red Oak man trying to enter vehicles on Monday evening faces numerous charges.
Red Oak Police arrested 31-year-old Matthew Russell Archer for three counts of assault while participating in a felony, two counts of 2nd-degree Robbery, and one count of 4th-degree Criminal Mischief.
Red Oak Police responded to the 300 block of Coolbaugh Street at around 6:40 p.m. for a report of a man punching vehicles and attempting to get into them. During the investigation, Officers determined Matthew Russell approached several victims, threatened them, and tried to take their cars. The victims managed to escape and call 9-1-1. When the final victim refused to give up their keys, he began punching her vehicle and walked away.
Officers transported Russell to the Montgomery County Jail and held him on a $10,000 bond.
