In other news, the Supervisors held a public hearing on vacating a portion of 292nd Lane. The board heard from Richard Hall who owns the property surrounding the dirt road. He politely asked that they not close the road. The Supervisors voted three to one to vacate the roadway. Jodie Hoadley voted Nay. Supervisor John Twombly was not present at today’s meeting.
The Supervisors also held a public hearing on moving forward with the General Obligation Urban Renewal Bonds not to exceed $5,000,000. There were no public comments and the Supervisors approved the resolution directing the advertisement for sale and approving electronic bidding procedures and official statement.
