(Des Moines) The National Weather Service says there is considerable uncertainty about whether severe weather will occur today, as cloud cover and showers may limit storm activity. The main window for any severe storms is between 3 p.m. and 9 p.m., with the primary threat being large hail and secondary threats being damaging winds and perhaps a tornado or two.
