(Audubon) The Audubon County supervisors recently received an oil and gas land drilling lease. Chairman Heath Hanson says the leases for drilling for hydrogen and other gases are being sent to multiple landowners.
Hanson says the requests are based on some old surveys.
Hanson says the County Attorney is currently investigating these leases. He says this could be an entirely new industry for Audubon County or it could be nothing.
