(Lincoln, NE) – The Nebraska Huskers will have another volleyball player enter the transfer portal. Multi-sport athlete Maggie Mendelson has entered the transfer portal.
Mendelson played in 13 matches this season and earned 27 kills on 63 swings in the NCAA Tournament game against Long Island. She also played basketball for the Huskers as she saw action in 22 games and averaged two points per game. Her scholarship was not for volleyball but rather for her basketball scholarship.
The middle leaves alongside Caroline Jurevicius, Hayden Kubik, and Whitney Lauenstein. Mendelson will have two years of eligibility left after she jumps into the portal.
