(Des Moines, IA) — TSA is reminding travelers with firearms the correct way to pack. Under TSA rules, guns are to be unloaded inside a padded, locked, hard-sided case. This year, TSA workers at the Des Moines International Airport have confiscated seven guns, all loaded during screening. Mark Howell, spokesperson for TSA, says people traveling with a firearm must fill out a Declaration Card, which informs TSA agents. There will be a 15 thousand dollar fee if a firearm is not declared.
