(Atlantic) Atlantic City Administrator John Lund, appearing at last Wednesday’s City Council, reported the Department of Management released the combined General Fund Levy.
Lund says two months ago, he forecasted, based on his reading of (HF718) relating to local government property taxes, the levy would be $7.86000. He says the Department of Management predicts $7.86408.
Lund says his residential property research is coming along. He has discovered no relationship in Atlantic with home construction and interest rates, the price of corn, or general inflation. Lund will dive into each new subdivision next and figure out the rate of construction and the price of infrastructure improvements.
