Mass of Christian Burial for 78 year old Douglas J. Baker of Harlan will be held on Thursday, October 5th at 11 am at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Harlan. Visitation will begin at 9am and go until time of service at the church. Burial will be in the Harlan Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife Mary Baker of Harlan, IA; children Maxwell (Sarah) Baker of Grinnell, IA; Sarah Baker of Omaha, NE; grandchildren Mikaela (Zach) Abbott of Oskaloosa, IA; Zachary Fillmore of Grinnell; Jacob Baker of Oskaloosa; Connor Whitford of Omaha; Benjamin Whitford of Omaha; great grandchildren Sawyer Abbott of Oskaloosa and Messer Abbott of Oskaloosa; sisters Susan (Raymond) Arnold of Minden, IA; Michelle (Gary) Blum of Harlan, IA.
