(Audubon) The Audubon County Board of Supervisors is getting closer to making the courthouse HVAC project happen.
On Wednesday, three contractors toured the facility, and another prospective contractor is scheduled to go through the facility next week.
Audubon County Supervisors Chair Doug Sorensen says the City has not moved their offices into the building yet. Sorensen is hopeful the county can make some arrangements with them.
The projects received no bids the first go around. Sorensen says they are optimistic proposals will come in during this second attempt.
The total project cost is estimated at $2.2 million. The county plans to use one million dollars in ARPA funding to pay for at least half of the project.
The bids are due on October 19.
