(Glenwood) The Mills County Sheriff’s Office released more information on the search for the missing Glenwood woman.
The Sheriff’s Office has been inundated with questions and concerns regarding the search. Authorities say that due to the public’s concern and desire to help, they wanted to update everyone on the search and what has been done so far.
The Sheriff’s Office has launched two drones equipped with FLIR that have flown numerous times since Ms. Krueger was reported missing. The Cass County and Montgomery County EMA have flown their drones equipped with FLIR.
The Iowa State Patrol has assisted with their airplane, equipped with FLIR, over a large area for several hours.
Authorities say they continue to utilize all local and state resources to search for Ms. Krueger.
If any community members want to continue to search, please do so in pairs or teams for safety reasons and respect personal boundaries.
The first three pictures show the area that was searched by the Iowa State Patrol aircraft. The fourth photo shows the search areas covered by ground personnel and drones. Ground personnel searched the areas shaded in pink, blue, and orange extensively. The blue circle area shows the majority of the area covered by drones.
