(Atlantic) Atlantic Firefighters responded to a house fire on Saturday night. Atlantic Fire Chief Tom Cappel says the call went out at 11:49 p.m. at 304 Hazel Street.
Firemen were at the scene for about 90 minutes. Chief Cappel thanks the Atlantic Police Department, Cass County Sheriff’s Office, Iowa State Patrol, Cass EMA, and Cass EMS for their assistance at the scene.
(note a correction from the initial post. No one was home when the fire broke out at the residence.)
