(Red Oak) The Montgomery County Board of Supervisors approved a new contract with Family Connections. Supervisor Chairman Mike Olson says the new agreement takes effect on October 1 at 42 cents per square foot, 54 cents on June 1, and 66 cents per square foot in 2025, with negations to follow for ongoing years after that.
The County would still be responsible for the Utility bill; however, supervisor Mark Peterson says that part of the contract may be revisited when the two parties renegotiate the new contract on June 1.
Family Connections would like to build more office space on County-owned property, increasing its rental space to 2,320 square feet.
