Teal-Only and Dove Hunting Seasons Open Today

(Area) Iowa’s teal-only and dove hunting seasons opened today (Friday).

Bryan Hayes with the DNR Office in Lewis said the teal-only season is open for 16-days.

As far as the doves, Hayes said the season is kind of opening with mixed reviews since some of the doves have moved out, but he’s hoping for another push of doves in the state.

The rabbit and squirrel season kicks off Saturday.
