(NAFB) Scammers are constantly evolving their tactics to find ways to take your money. They read the news, keep track of government programs that help those in need, and even pretend to be a close friend or family member to help you apply for benefits or allege a need for immediate help. And AARP Oklahoma State Director Sean Voskuhl says scams are big business.
Voskuhl says scams come in many shapes and sizes and are often tailored to a specific situation.
In Addition, new data from AARP shows veterans are often targeted by scammers, as well.
