(Des Moines, IA) — There are more details about a Texas assignment for Iowa National Guard soldiers and State Troopers. More than 100 Iowa National Guard soldiers will help with U.S. Southern Border security this month. A group of State Troopers will then head to Texas in September, to support the Texas Highway Patrol. Costs are covered by federal funding, from the American Rescue Plan.
