(Iowa City, IA) – Former Iowa Hawkeye offensive lineman Cody Ince passed away this weekend unexpectedly at the age of 23 years old. The University and the football community are mourning the loss of Cody’s passing as it is such stunning news. Many of his former teammates said that Cody was a person you wanted to be around at all times. Hawkeye Head Coach Kirk Ferentz called the 23-year-old a “tremendous young man and valued teammate.” Many of Ince’s teammates will be pallbearers at his funeral this weekend in Wisconsin.
