(Des Moines) It is soon going to cost more money to park at Des Moines International Airport. Beginning next Monday, the price for hourly parking at the airport will double from one dollar to two dollars. Long term parking costs will also go up from 18 dollars to 20 dollars a day. The first 20 minutes of parking will still be free. The price hike is coming as the airport moves forward on a planned expansion of the parking garage, with plans calling for over eleven-hundred more parking spaces.
