Wynona Wendt, 97, of Audubon passed away on Monday, May 29, 2023, at the Exira Care Center in Exira, Iowa.
Funeral Services: Will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Audubon, Iowa with Pastor Steven Frock officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Audubon.
Visitation: The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday, June 3, 2023. The Lamb Funeral Home in Greenfield is in charge of the professional arrangements. Online condolences may be left to the family at www.lambfuneralhomes.com.
Memorials: Memorials may be directed to the Wynona Wendt Memorial Fund to be established by the family at a later date.
Survivors: She is survived by her daughters, Sherry Jo Coufal (Bobby Neal) of Omaha, NE and Carol Ann Root (Dave Kneeskern) of Greenfield, IA; two grandsons, E. Jason Coufal (Hillary Lottes) of Omaha, NE and Travis Root (Samantha) of Dakota Dunes, SD; one great grandson, Landry Root of Dakota Dunes, SD; one brother-in-law, Ervin Wendt of San Diego, CA; and several nieces and nephews.
