(Des Moines, IA) The Iowa Utilities Board is holding six public meetings this summer on a possible natural gas rate increase. MidAmerican Energy is proposing raising prices for the service, and customers can voice their opinions on the change. The board is hosting five in-person meetings and one virtually, where representatives of MidAmerican, the IUB, and the Office of Consumer Advocate will respond to the public. The first meeting will be in Sioux City on July 24th.
