(Des Moines) An ongoing audit on Iowa’s victim’s services fund is stopping rape victims from collecting reimbursements. Iowa Attorney General Brenna Bird says until an audit of the fund is complete, the state will continue to cease reimbursements for Plan B and abortion pills for rape victims. The state stopped the service in April. Bird is also one of several GOP attorneys general bringing forward the lawsuit to ban the abortion pill.
