(Atlantic) The Atlantic Area Chamber Ambassadors welcomed a new business, the Atlantic community, on Thursday at the Rock Island Depot.
Ken Kahl, of Cass Title Services shared his history with abstracting, and his history with abstracting, beginning with Crawford County Abstract in 2008 and buying the company in 2012. For some time, he was the youngest abstract owner in Iowa. A few months ago, Ken was approached by Alisha Wagner about the prospect of opening a location in Cass County. After some thought and market research, he decided it would be a good fit and expanded Crawford County Abstract to create CassTitle Services, launching the company at the beginning of March.
Alisha Wagner serves as manager and comes to the company with four years of abstracting experience. She was born and raised in Atlantic and is now raising her family here. Alisha shared that her favorite part of abstracting is researching and learning the history behind each property she abstracts in Cass County. Alisha manages the company from her home as they search for office space in Atlantic.
