Class 3A Boy’s State Qualifying Meet in Carroll

(Carroll) The Class 3A Boy’s State Qualifying meet in Carroll is in the books. The top individuals in each event automatically qualify for the State Track Meet in Des Moines next week. The other eight spots in each event will be decided by the next 8-best performances that finish in the top 8.

The Atlantic boys team qualified in seven events, with the at-large spots yet to be released. Individually, Colton Rasmussen won the high jump (6-02), and Jayden Cox won the 400-meter hurdles (57.96). Jackson McLaren finished runner-up in the 110-meter hurdles in (16.45). The Trojans won the Shuttle Hurdle, 4×800, and 4×400 meter relays and qualified with second place in the 800 sprint medley.

Harlan finished one-two in the 100, and 200 meters.
