(Anita) CAM Superintendent Paul Croghan recognized both the CAM School Board and the District’s Teachers during the board meeting this week.
May is School Board Recognition Month and May 8th-12th is Teacher Appreciation Week. Superintendent Paul says, “There’s a lot of appreciation this month. Thanks to the staff and the teachers for all they do to help our kids get an education. With graduation around the corner we are going to graduate another group of seniors. We want everybody to appreciate the things we’ve accomplished, but do it in a safe manner as well.”
A public hearing for was held for a Budget Amendment. “The purpose of the hearing was to adjust the budget for Technology and ESSER Fund expenditures and then some increases in some insurance costs. The board later did approve the amended budget as presented.”
Croghan says there were no public comments during the hearing. The board approved the Master Social Worker and E-Rate Agreements with Green Hills AEA. They also approved a bid to replace the walk-in cooler and freezer at the high school for $47,371.53 to Smith Heating and Plumbing.
