(Undated) — Around 150-thousand Iowans will lose Medicaid benefits, as the COVID-19 Health Emergency is set to expire this month. The state of Iowa is starting to disenroll people who do not qualify for the program, who were collecting the benefits due to the emergency. Nearly 900-thousand Iowans got Medicaid benefits in March of this year, around 200-thousand more than March 2020.
