(Atlantic) The Atlantic girls golf team shot 383 on Tuesday to win their home tournament. The Trojans put two individuals in the top ten to come out on top in the 12-team Betty Heflin Invite at Atlantic Golf and Country Club.
Belle Berg medaled with a round of 84. Coming in 10th for coach Kathy Hobson’s team was Lexi Noelck with a 98. Makenna Schroeder submitted a 99. Coming in with a 102 was Abby Muller. McKenna Sonntag posted 105 and Abby Smith shot 110.
Winterset’s Jaya West was the runner-up medalist with her round of 86.
Clarinda put two golfers in the top four individually and was 2nd as a team with a stroke total of 390. ADM, Winterset, and Harlan rounded out the top five squads in the team count.
