(Avoca) The City of Avoca’s new Library Director was introduced to the Pottawattamie County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday.
Current Library Director Serena Riesgaard has served for the past 15-years and she is retiring at the end of May.
Riesgaard said two of her other part time staff are also retiring, so there is a big changeover, but she said they are transitioning to new people and she knows things will continue on just as well as they have been.
