(Atlantic) The recent cold weather snap has many producers wondering whether to start planting this week or in some cases continue planting.
John Becker with Seed Pros North says soil temperatures are cooler than the first planting window a couple of weeks ago.
Meanwhile, Soil Temperatures have cooled to the mid-40s today at the 4-inch depth.
Becker says to talk to your seed provider and check on the stress emergence score of the hybrid you are ready to plant.
