(Dallas, TX) LSU defeated Iowa 102-85 in the finals of the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament on Sunday. The Tigers finish the season with a 34-2 record.
LSU grabbed a double digit lead with a 32-20 2nd quarter advantage and shot 54.3% in the win. Coach Kim Mulkey’s squad connected on 11/17 3-point attempts.
(31-7) Iowa got 30 points, 2 rebounds, and 8 assists from Caitlin Calrk. She was 9/22 from the floor and 8/19 beyond the arc. Monika Czinano and Kate Martin each posted 13 points. Gabbie Marshall scored 12.
