(Griswold) The Iowa Department of Transportation is proposing improvements to the sidewalks adjacent to State Highways 92 and 48 in the City of Griswold. The purpose is to make the sidewalks compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. Construction is proposed in the summer of 2024.
A public information meeting will be held on April 11th from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Griswold Community Building. No formal presentation will be made. However, displays of the proposed improvements and the needed easements will be available to view. Staff will be available to answer questions regarding the improvements.
