(Harlan) The Harlan School Board, on Tuesday, approved a three-percent package increase for the Harlan Education Association Schools Superintendent Jenny Barnett says the new contract includes the increase in insurance rates, with the rest going to the teacher’s base pay.
The School Board also approved the three-percent package increase for the classified staff, director, and administrative salary. This includes para-professionals, secretaries, food service, transportation, and custodial staff.
The School Board went into a closed session to discuss a resignation. The board came out of the closed session and approved the resignation submitted by Eric Croghan.
