(Guthrie Center) Guthrie County Conservation Director Brad Halterman, appearing in front of the board of supervisors this (Tuesday) morning, is looking to start some outdoor projects. Halterman recently sent out information for bids for a new mid-mount zero-turn mower budgeted for this fiscal year.
In addition to the mower, Halterman says as soon as the budget is finalized, the conservation department will get bids for a side-by-side with the trade-in. Halterman does not have the trade-in value yet.
In other business, The board approved County Attorney Dana Minteer’s payroll change to placing Zoee Risdal on full-time status, agreed on the abatement of taxes for a parcel in Stuart, and approved the appointment of Deputy Treasurer Erica Fisher.
The board went into a work session to discuss the law enforcement Budget.
