Red Oak City Council Approves City Clerk Hire

(Red Oak) The Red Oak City Council approved the hiring of City Clerk Christine Vanderholm at Monday’s regular City Council Meeting. The Council also set Vanderholm’s salary at $52,000.

The Council also set the following salaries for non-union employees on Monday.

According to the minutes, the following stipends were approved: Chris Day, $71,097.00 per year, William Deitering: $19.24 per hour, Susan McDonald-$20.65 per hour, Darren Paul-$28.79 per hour, and Ronald Tilton-$19.73 Per hour.

The Council also approved the following street closures for the August 19 Classy Chassis Car Club Show. Those street closures include; the entrance to Coolbaugh Street and 2^nd Street public access off Coolbaugh, south on 2^nd Street. All intersections at 2^nd, 3^rd, 4^th, and 5^th Streets on Coolbaugh. Third Street north from Washington Street to Hammond Street, 4^th Street north from Washington Street to Reed Street, and Reed Street to 2^nd Street to 4^th Street, and the request for Police presence.
