(Hull) An 18-year-old Minnesota woman died in a two-vehicle collision in Sioux County.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened at 6:04 p.m. on Tuesday on Highway 75 near mile marker 145 in Sioux County. Authorities say 18-year-old Emma Nibbelink, of Luverne, Minnesota died from injuries from the accident.
According to the report, Nibbelink was driving a southbound 2008 Chevy Impala on Highway 75, drove onto the west shoulder covered with snow and ice, overcorrected, and crossed the centerline. A Northbound 2018 Chevy K2500 pickup driven by 25-year-old Dylan Taylor of Le Mars stuck the Impala broadside. Both vehicles came to rest in the east ditch. Nibbelink was pronounced deceased at the scene.
