(Des Moines, IA) — A child is now dead after a car crash near Grays Lake that Des Moines police say was caused by street racing. Police say two cars were racing down Fleur Drive last night when one driver lost control, crossed into oncoming traffic, and hit two oncoming cars. The other car kept going and hasn’t been found. Two adults and two kids were taken to the hospital, one of which has since died. Police say some of the other victims are in critical condition but their exact conditions are unknown.
