(Atlantic) Tom McLaren was presented with the Angel of Christmas award during a surprise meeting with family this morning.
The Angel of Christmas recognizes area residents who symbolize the true meaning of the season. Angels exemplify the true holiday spirit all year long – putting others first, spreading generosity and sharing the holiday spirit with everyone they meet.

The Strong As Steele Facebook page began after Tom McLaren’s nephew Steele McLaren suffered a head injury in an accident October 2020.
Tom McLaren said this page has helped him reach out to people all over the world.
McLaren said he didn’t start the prayers to get recognition, he did it for Steele.
