(Anita) The CAM School Board on Monday evening discussed enrollment and the district’s financial projections. Schools Superintendent Paul Croghan says last school year, after a decade of steady growth and an increase of 50 students over the past 10 years, the district lost 27.9-students, and this year, enrollment fell another 2.9 students.
Croghan says the board would like to look at the student’s open enrollment in and out, future enrollment projections, and what it would like to reduce attendance centers.
Croghan says a workshop is scheduled on November 28th to hear answers to the mentioned questions and consider options. He says this will allow the public to listen to those options and what is being considered. The School Board will not take any action during the workshop on November 28.
