(Red Oak) The Red Oak City Council met is special session Tuesday afternoon to discuss the process of filling the vacancies of City Clerk and City Administrator.

Councilman Brian Bills said he has ordered some plaques to recognize Wright and Bolton’s years of service and those should be presented at the next City Council Meeting.
The Council then discussed the interim delegation of duties. It was mentioned that an individual that does interim Administrator work would be willing to help out.
The Council also discussed scheduling meetings with department heads and staff to get advice on their urgent needs and concerns, the Council put together a hiring committee, and they discussed professional search firms or options.
