(Pottawattamie Co) The Pottawattamie County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday approved the resignation of Veteran Affairs Director Rita Dooley.
In addition to approving the resignation, the Supervisors approved the severance and release agreements. Pottawattamie County Attorney Matt Wilber said that agreement was presented to the Veterans Affairs Commission Monday morning and they voted to sign and agree to the acknowledgment.

The Supervisors will now need to make the decision on how and when they will begin the process of hiring a new VA Director.
