(Council Bluffs, IA) A man is sentenced to more than seven years on multiple firearms charges. Thirty-four-year-old Andre Shupe of Council Bluffs was sentenced last week after pleading guilty to possession and selling a stolen firearm and being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm. Prosecutors say four guns and hunting gear were stolen from a truck at Harrah’s Casino in November 2021, and Shupe allegedly tried to sell the weapons.
