(Des Moines) October has been one of the top twenty driest months statewide over the past 150 years. There is some good news on the Horizon. State Climatologist Justin Glisan says there is a silver lining in the weather outlook models.
He says any moisture we can get before it freezes will get much-needed moisture in the tank for the next growing season.
