(Council Bluffs) The Council Bluffs Police Department is investigating a stabbing.
Officers were dispatched to 3551 Avenue E at 10:13 a.m. on Saturday for a stabbing. Upon officers’ arrival, they were told that Ricky Pettigrew and Dylan Pearey had begun arguing and it turned physical. Dylan Pearey then pulled a knife on Ricky Pettigrew and Pettigrew was swinging a chair at Pearey. Pearey ended up cutting Pettigrew on his head with the knife. At this time, it is unknown if Dylan Pearey sustained any injuries. Ricky Pettigrew’s injuries were not life threatening.
The case is still under investigations and no charges have been filed at this time.
